The New York Knicks are the third-best team in the Eastern Conference with a 37-19 record.
But that won’t mean anything if they can’t go far in the playoffs.
Sadly, their record among the top teams in the league leaves much to be desired.
As pointed out by Yahoo Sports, per Legion Hoops, the Knicks are now 0-6 against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Boston Celtics.
This point was hit home in a painful way on Friday night, as the Cavaliers destroyed the Knicks, leaving many fans worried about what’s ahead.

The Cavs beat the Knicks on Friday, and it wasn’t even close.
The final score was 142-105, and the Knicks didn’t stand a chance for the entire game.
Jalen Brunson put up 26 points and Karl-Anthony Towns posted 23, but nothing kept them in the game, and the Cavaliers barely even broke a sweat.
This was a horrible game for the Knicks, and it was very concerning because of how they are playing against the league’s best teams.
Every year there are a few teams that do very well in the regular season but completely fall apart in the playoffs.
Is that what will happen to the Knicks this year?
Friday was bad, but it could get even worse this weekend because the Knicks now have to face off against the Celtics on Sunday.
Will that bring this record to a dismal 0-7?
At this point, the Knicks and all other teams need to be thinking of the months ahead and the postseason.
That means they have to figure out a way to overcome the teams that will surely be in the playoffs.
