Mumbai Indians (MI) has made it to its third consecutive playoffs after winning five out of eight fixtures in the group stage.
The loss to Royal Challenger Bengaluru in the last league match meant Mumbai Indians finished in second place and having to play Gujarat Giants in the Eliminator on March 13.

2023 WPL ELIMINATOR AND FINAL
MI faced UP Warriorz in the first-ever WPL eliminator which saw Nat Sciver-Brunt’s 38-ball 72 help the team post 182. The Warriorz were bundled up for 110, handing MI a 72-run win.

Mumbai Indians faced Delhi Capitals in the inaugural season finale. DC managed to post 131 runs in 20 overs while MI’s captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Nat Sciver-Brunt shared a 72-run stand to guide the team to the its maiden title.
2024 WPL Eliminator
Defending champion MI faced Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 2024 eliminator at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, aiming to reach a second straight final.

Ellyse Perry’s crucial 50-ball 66 helped RCB reach a total of 135 for the loss of six wickets. However, Mumbai Indians stumbled in the chase and fell short by five runs, bowing out in the Eliminator.
