The Phoenix Suns weren’t able to stop the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, but Kevin Durant still had a special game.
The 15-time All-Star posted 26 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists during the game, and he scored three three-pointers.
Those three shots from downtown earned him a special spot in NBA history.
According to the NBA on X, Durant moved up to 14th place on the list of all-time three-pointers made.
He is now ahead of Paul Pierce, Eric Gordon, Buddy Hield, Jason Kidd, and more.
At 2,144 threes, Durant is behind Kyle Lowry, Jamal Crawford, and many more.
If he plays well for the rest of the season, he could surpass Lowry before the summer.

That’s great news for Durant, and earning another spot in league history is always impressive, but his future with the Suns is definitely up in the air.
There have been numerous rumors about Durant leaving the Suns.
In fact, the team was apparently toying with the idea of sending him away before the recent trade deadline.
That didn’t happen but now conventional wisdom says he will be leaving in the summer.
Durant and the Suns reportedly want to find a trade suitor that can contend for a championship soon.
So, where will he be by this time next year?
The Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks, and Houston Rockets have all been tossed around as possible new homes for Durant.
Wherever he lands next, he will probably climb even higher on this list of three-point greatness.
He is still sinking 39.9 percent of his threes and is taking 6.0 attempts per game, so his shots from deep aren’t stopping any time soon.
