The Miami Heat and Jimmy Butler are finally done with one another.
However, even though the former All-Star is now in the Bay Area, the way he carried himself to force his exit from his former team left a bad taste in plenty of people’s mouths.
Notably, that includes former player Tim Hardaway.
Talking on SiriusXM NBA Radio, Hardaway didn’t mince his words about Butler, going as far as to call him a crybaby.
“[Jimmy Butler’s] a baby. [He’s] a crybaby”

Hardaway ripped Butler for not being able to take no for an answer.
More than that, he believes that Butler should’ve been more professional instead of disrespecting his coach and his teammates by trying to mess up the team.
It’s hard to disagree with that.
Butler had plenty of reasons to be mad at Pat Riley, and with him not being willing to sign a contract extension, chances are the Heat would’ve ended up trading him anyway.
As good a player as he is, he’s burned a lot of bridges everywhere he’s gone, and it’s not like he has several NBA championship rings to show for that.
Also, he’s been hurt more often than not, and his lack of availability constantly hurt the Heat.
Being injured isn’t his fault, and his teammates could’ve respected him if he missed games because of that.
But constantly putting himself over everybody else, which has been a trend with him in the past, makes it hard to defend him.
The Golden State Warriors made a big gamble, and only time will tell if it will pay off.
