The Phoenix Suns aren’t in the place they want to be and may have to make big moves before Thursday’s trade deadline to change that.
But could they be saying goodbye to Kevin Durant?
That is the latest rumor winding through the NBA and it might lead to Durant reuniting with his old team.
Speaking on “Get Up,” Brian Windhorst revealed that the Golden State Warriors might sign Durant before Thursday’s deadline in a wild trade that could shake up the Western Conference.

Windhorst said the Suns and Warriors have something in common: they are desperate to get better.
They want to climb higher in the standings and make an impact in the playoffs this year, but they are lacking right now.
They both hold a 25-24 record.
Durant back to the Bay Area might happen because the Suns are having a very hard time moving Bradley Beal and his no-trade clause contract.
They also really want Jimmy Butler, who is trying to leave the Miami Heat.
Because they are in such a jam and because Durant only has a year left on his contract, they are listening to potential offers for him.
The Warriors are just one of many teams that would love to have Durant.
Windhorst said there are a lot of moving pieces behind the scenes, and he doesn’t know what is going to happen.
The only thing he is sure of is that Devin Booker will remain with the Suns and Steph Curry will stay with the Warriors.
Beyond that, anything is possible.
During his three-year stint with the Warriors, Durant averaged 25.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 5.4 assists.
Is he about to return to the team and bring them more glory?
