The landscape of the NBA has changed a lot over the past few days.
Luka Doncic is a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, Anthony Davis is on the Dallas Mavericks, and De’Aaron Fox is on the San Antonio Spurs, just to name the most high-profile players to be on new teams.
With such big moves going down, some teams across the league might feel like they’re missing out, wanting to make moves of their own to better their standing in the second half of the year.
One of the teams that’s waiting is the Golden State Warriors, at least according to Warriors reporter Anthony Slater.
“The Warriors are surveying, they’re canvassing, and, to a degree, yes they are desperate,” Slater said.
The Golden State Warriors are reportedly
‘desperate,’ per @anthonyVslater

Slater seems to believe that the Warriors hope to add another marquee player alongside Steph Curry, someone who could help take this team to the next level.
The Warriors would be out of the playoffs if the season were to end today, and Curry isn’t getting any younger.
He might only have a few years of his prime left, giving the team limited options to win another championship with him on the roster.
They could be willing to exhaust their efforts to find the right player, but it has to make sense from a fit and financial perspective.
The Warriors might not be able to find a player like Doncic or Davis, but with talk that Kevin Durant might be available from the Phoenix Suns, a reunion might be in the team’s best interest.
