The Phoenix Suns have gone 7-3 over the last 10 games and have been showing signs of life in the Western Conference.
However, they are still a team to watch before next week’s trade deadline because they could deal away key players.
On Friday night, Kevin Durant talked with SportsCenter, via the NBA on ESPN on X, and was asked about the current roster the Suns have and how Durant likes playing with them.
He said that he loves “playing with these guys, love preparing with these guys.”
He is focused on the week ahead and continuing to build a strong bond with his teammates and doesn’t seem too bothered by any potential adjustments on the horizon.
“Just come out and grind, do your job every day. I love playing with these guys, love preparing with these guys.”

Durant’s fingerprints were all over the Suns’ victory against the Golden State Warriors on Friday.
He posted 19 points, six rebounds, and three assists, shooting 46.2 percent from the field and 55.6 percent from the three-point line.
That is actually slightly down from his current season average of 27.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 4.2 assists.
Even with a few important wins under their belts, the Suns could be on the way to big changes next week before the deadline hits.
Phoenix has been the center of much speculation, and they could take a serious run at landing Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat.
There have been stories about the Suns trying to part ways with Bradley Beal, Jusuf Nurkic, and possibly others.
It’s not Durant’s job to interfere with trades, even though he could speak to the front office if he wanted.
Instead, Durant’s role is to keep playing well and continue to foster special relationships with his teammates.
The Suns have been looking better lately, but they could get even stronger in the days ahead.
Durant already likes his team, but he may like it even more after next week’s deadline.
