The Dallas Mavericks evened their season score against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday night, beating that team 143-133 in San Francisco.
It was a big night for the Mavericks and especially for Klay Thompson, who was fighting against his former team for the second time this season.
After the game, 95.7 The Game, via ClutchPoints, got footage of Thompson walking on the court, clearly excited about the victory.
Thompson was obviously pumped and proud and could hardly contain him.
Fans can’t blame him because Thompson’s new team is currently looking much better than his former one.

Following Sunday’s win, the Mavericks have a 17-9 record and are the fourth team in the West.
Meanwhile, the Warriors have hit a few speed bumps recently and are now seventh with a 14-11 record.
Thompson was immensely effective during the game against Golden State, scoring 29 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
For comparison, his season average is 14.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists.
During his two games versus Golden State this year, Thompson has produced 25.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists.
There is clearly something about playing against his old team that brings out the competitor in Thompson.
Luckily for him, the San Francisco crowd was still happy to see Thompson and gave him a warm reception.
Although they hated to see their team fail, they were happy to see Thompson play with such vigor.
Thompson’s first season with the Mavericks hasn’t been without its rough moments, but Thompson looks happy and invigorated playing for Dallas.
He still loves the players and fans of Golden State, but he also loves beating them.
