It’s been a very long time since Cleveland Cavaliers fans were this excited about their team.
The Cavaliers have a 6-0 record for the first time in years and they look like legitimate contenders.
Speaking on ESPN, former Golden State Warriors GM Bob Myers spoke about the Cavaliers and their chances of being this good for the whole season.
“Sometimes, teams take a little bit of time,” Myers said, before adding, “They might have what it takes to be a real contender.”

Myers commended the Cavaliers for staying the course and believing in the team they have.
He noted that many front offices would have freaked out after another disappointing playoff run last season.
But Koby Altman didn’t trade away a bunch of players because he thinks he has a core roster that can go far.
The team did dispatch their former coach and brought in Kenny Atkinson, but they didn’t make a bunch of deals like other squads would.
The Cavs have burst into the new season with something to say, beating teams like the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, and more.
On Friday night, they took down their Eastern Conference foes the Orlando Magic.
Everything seems to be working in Cleveland, with Donovan Mitchell looking more committed than ever before, Darius Garland appearing confident, and Evan Mobley seemingly fighting for the Most Improved Player award.
Myers isn’t convinced they have what it takes to beat the Boston Celtics but they might prove to be a true threat to the rest of the East.
A great start doesn’t guarantee a shot at a title but everyone agrees the Cavaliers are on a whole other level this season, at least for right now.
