Parker spent time with Wembanyama before his first season began last year.
That means he got close to the young star and understands his personality, his drive, his goals, and his potential.
He knows Wembanyama better than others and sees all he can achieve.
Now in his second year, Wembanyama is averaging a stellar 24.6 points, 10.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and a league-high 4.0 blocks per game.
He has already earned Rookie of the Year and it feels like he could be on his way to his first Defensive Player of the Year trophy.
The sky really might be the limit for Wembanyama but championship wins are a must.
The Spurs franchise has a massive and historic legacy, and they judge success based on titles.
If Wembanyama wants to earn his spot in Spurs history and become one of the best team members ever, he will need to earn at least one ring.

Parker and millions of Spurs fans want a lot from Wembanyama, but they are positive he can deliver.
