Harleen Deol scored her maiden international hundred during the second WODI between India Women and West Indies Women at the Vadodara International Stadium in Vadodara on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old got to the milestone with a four off Shamilia Connell’s delivery. Her knock included 13 fours, which powered India to its joint-highest WODI total of 358 for five in 50 overs.

After opting to bat first, India’s openers Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal put on a 100-run stand before the former had to depart via an unneccesary run out.
In came Harleen, who kept the scoreboard ticking right from the get go and kept the Windies away from gaining momentum. She put on a 50-run stand with Pratika and went on to add 116 more runs for the fourth wicket with Jemimah Rodrigues.
Her 103-ball 115-run stay in the middle finally came to an end when she tried to loft a short delivery over the cow corner, only to hit it into the hands of Aaliyah Alleyne in the deep.
Apart from Harleen’s century, three other batters got to their half centuries: Smriti, Pratika and Jemimah.
