Chet Holmgren of the Oklahoma City Thunder is one of the most dominant and talented big men in the league right now.
So, whenever anyone can get past him, it is noteworthy.
On Thursday night, Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves dunked on Holmgren in a way that goes way beyond “noteworthy.”
The video of the dunk was shared by Bleacher Report and others online and instantly went viral.
It was just one of the many great moments from Minnesota’s win over the Thunder.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Edwards has posterized someone, but it’s rare to see Holmgren humbled in such a way.
For the evening, Edwards produced 23 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists and helped his Timberwolves walk away with a 116-101 win.
Edwards currently has a season average of 27.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists on 44.0 percent from the field and 41.4 percent from the three-point line.
It’s not often that teams beat the Thunder, which gave the Timberwolves even more reason to celebrate.
Minnesota needed this win on Thursday because they had just lost two consecutive games to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee Bucks.
Earning a strong victory against such a dominant Western Conference foe gives the Timberwolves some wind in their sails before the All-Star break.
They are now the seventh seed in the West with a 31-25 record.
Even with this embarrassing dunk and the painful loss, the Thunder are still easily the best team in their conference with a 44-10 record.
Holmgren might not have liked getting dunked on like this, but he is still very happy with how well his team is playing.
