Now that the trade deadline has passed, basketball fans can focus on the NBA All-Star Game, which is right around the corner on February 16.
The annual event, which will be held in San Francisco this season, is always a cause for celebration and unique fashion choices by the league.
On Thursday, the NBA revealed this season’s All-Star jerseys, via NBACentral.
In a statement, the league said:
“Drawing inspiration from the vibrant cultures of San Francisco and Oakland, the NBA All-Star court and the three NBA All-Star uniforms bridge the connections between Bay Area communities and feature a color palette that pays homage to the host team, the Golden State Warriors.”

According to the NBA, the red uniforms’ side pattern highlights the cable cars of San Francisco, while the belt buckle on the shorts actually features one of the famous cable cars.
Meanwhile, the pattern along the side of the blue jersey is supposed to represent the roots of Oakland’s oak trees.
Beyond the symbolism, the uniforms just look good, and they will definitely pop on the court when the games kick off.
The league announced that the 2025 All-Star Game will have a mini-tournament format, with 24 stars divided into three teams and the fourth team filled with members of the Rising Stars game.
Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kenny Smith will play general manager for the teams and will draft players on Thursday evening.
The league has been trying to get more people excited about the All-Star Game for years, so there will be a lot of media attention about ratings and viewer engagement.
The jerseys look great, but will the game be as impressive?
