The Atlanta Hawks are the ninth seed in the East with a 22-25 record and are looking for some improvements by next week.
They have a lot of powerful players who they want to hold on to, but they are willing to part ways with several stars.
According to Marc Stein, it may be time for the Hawks to say goodbye to Bogdan Bogdanovic.
“It has been known for some time that Atlanta is willing to trade veteran center Clint Capela, but league sources say that the Hawks have begun actively exploring the trade market for their own perimeter specialist: Bogdan Bogdanović,” Stein wrote, per NBACentral.

Bogdanovic has made a name for himself as a sharpshooting guard who can score a lot off the bench.
This season, Bogdanovic is averaging 10.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists on 37.1 percent from the floor.
He isn’t producing like he used to, which may be one of the reasons why the Hawks are ready to move beyond him.
He is at a career low when it comes to his points, three-pointer percentage, and overall field goal percentage.
While he could turn a corner and improve his output, the Hawks might not want to wait and find out.
They could still get a decent exchange for him on the trade market.
As Stein noted, Bogdanovic might not be the only player leaving Atlanta because they are also interested in moving Clint Capela.
Trading away both of them could give the Hawks a huge boost, especially if they are packaged together.
When he’s at his best, Bogdanovic’s skill set could be used by many teams, so he will probably find a new home in the league soon.
