The ICC Women’s ODI World Cup Qualifier 2025 will take place from April 9 to 19 in Pakistan. The six-team tournament is being held to determine the last two spots in the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup, which will take place in October and November this year.
The competition will feature six teams, including four full members – Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh, and Ireland. These four teams failed to secure direct qualification for the World Cup after finishing between seventh and 10th place in the ICC Women’s Championship standings.
Scotland and Thailand are the other two teams in the tournament, and are featuring on the basis of being the next two best-ranked sides in the ICC Women’s ODI rankings.
Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka and host India have already qualified for the World Cup after finishing in the top six of the 10-team ICC Women’s Championship.
