The Los Angeles Lakers pulled off their eighth win in a row on Thursday night, taking down the New York Knicks in overtime to the cheers of the fans at Crypto.com Arena.
This was perhaps the most impressive win of the Luka Doncic era because it featured the Lakers coming back from a deficit against the Knicks.
Following the game, Doncic talked about his new team and the chemistry they are building.
“I think we’re well-connected,” Doncic said, via NBA on X.
He mentioned that Thursday’s game was a prime example of how strong the chemistry and culture in LA are.

It looked like the Lakers were going to face a loss to the Knicks and their seven-game winning streak was going to come to an end.
They were down by ten points in the final quarter and didn’t seem to have an answer for the Knicks.
But head coach JJ Redick put together a good plan, the players executed it, and they eventually pushed the game into overtime.
Then, in the extra five minutes, the Lakers capitalized and Doncic was a huge part of that.
For the night, he had 32 points, seven rebounds, and 12 assists.
Teams prove themselves the most when they are facing adversity and the Lakers were definitely in a tough spot on Thursday.
But they never lost belief, continued to play hard, made the right adjustments, and came back to score a hugely impressive win.
The vibes and atmosphere are really good in Los Angeles and Doncic appears very happy with his team.
He feels all the players are connected and the chemistry is strong.
Luckily for Lakers fans, the chemistry will probably only get stronger.
