The Los Angeles Lakers are the real deal.
That is the statement that Brian Windhorst made on Wednesday’s episode of “Get Up.”
Following their latest win, this time against the New Orleans Pelicans, Windhorst warned other teams to “look the bleep out.”
“The Lakers are absolutely flexing right now,” Windhorst said, before speaking at length about all the good things they have going.

He mentioned how the pairing of Luka Doncic and LeBron James is working so well together, but that’s not the only strong characteristic the Lakers are enjoying.
He gave a special nod to Jaxson Hayes, whom many people had counted out after the Doncic-Anthony Davis trade.
Hayes has been looking great lately and contributed hugely during Wednesday’s win.
The Lakers were able to take down the Pelicans easily, and they did it without two of their starters: Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura.
They have won seven games in a row, are second in the West, and haven’t looked this great in years.
And while a huge part of that is due to Doncic, the strength of this team goes deeper than that.
Now their goal is to keep it up for the final full month of the regular season.
Head coach JJ Redick has figured out how to make this team work and has improved their offense and defense.
There is a deep confidence throughout the team, and every player really believes in what they are trying to do.
Can they continue to perform like this and sit toward the top of the Western Conference standings when the playoffs kick off?
Fans hoped the Lakers would be good after the Doncic trade, but few thought they’d be this good.
