Although some people feel the Boston Celtics belong to Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, the truth is that the team is very deep with multiple talented players on the roster.
One of the team’s most important stars is Derrick White, who is consistently strong on both ends of the court.
According to StatMuse, White has been doing spectacular things this season and has hit a few career highs.
He is averaging 16.3 points (a career high), as well as 4.4 rebounds (another career high), 4.3 assists, 1.1 blocks, and 3.4 three-pointers per game (yet another career high).
He is sinking 39 percent of his three-point shots and has repeatedly helped the Celtics remain the second-best team in the East.

White is now enjoying his fourth season with the Celtics and is one of their unsung heroes.
He might not get as much attention as Tatum or Brown, but all Boston fans agree that their latest championship wouldn’t have been possible without White.
Last year, he averaged 15.2 points per game, but he was also a huge help defensively.
Even though he’s a 6-foot-4 guard, White is capable of shutting down all sorts of opponents, even those who are much bigger than him.
That is why he was in the running for Defensive Player of the Year last season.
The Celtics may be behind the Cleveland Cavaliers in the standings, but they are very much in the hunt for another championship.
And if they win, White will be part of the reason why.
He has been very reliable and consistent every season and 2024-25 is no different.
