UP Warriorz, on Thursday, announced Australian Georgia Voll as a replacement for Chamari Athapaththu for the remainder of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 season.
Athapaththu will miss the final phase of the ongoing tournament after she was named captain of the national team for the white-ball series against New Zealand beginning on March 4. Sri Lanka is scheduled to play three ODIs and three T20Is during the tour.
Despite being in the Warriorz squad, the veteran all rounder did not play a single match this season.

The 21-year-old Voll made a sparkling start to her international career, scoring a century in just her second ODI. She has played three T20Is in addition to three ODIs and one Test for Australia.

The Australian batter will join Warriorz for Rs. 30 Lakh.
It is currently fourth in the five-team table with two wins from five games. The Deepti Sharma-led side will play their remaining three matches at home in Lucknow.
