India on Monday qualified for the semifinals of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 after New Zealand beat Bangladesh by five wickets in Rawalpindi.
The Kiwis also sealed a spot in the last-four from Group A with the win. India’s last group-stage game against New Zealand on March 2 will determine which side finishes as the winner of Group A.
The winner of the match will play the team which finishes second in Group B in the semifinal.
This is the sixth edition where the Men in Blue have made it to the semifinals. They advanced to the last-four in 1998, 2000, 2002 2013, and 2017. For New Zealand, it will be the fourth semifinals appearance and its first since 2009.
