The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 will be the third edition of the T20 tournament, played by five teams across 22 games with the final set to take place on March 15.
In the last two seasons, players from Associate nations — countries that have established cricket but do not qualify for full membership in the International Cricket Council (ICC ) — have been a part of the WPL.
According to the rules, WPL teams are permitted to field five overseas players, as long as the fifth player represents an Associate nation.
