Steph Curry has now played with Jimmy Butler for two games and he has already noticed a difference.
Speaking to Anthony Slater and the press on Monday following Golden State’s win over the Milwaukee Bucks, Curry talked about what he is seeing from Butler.
“Every possession just doesn’t feel as hard. You still see attention, you still see defense, but you have to worry about something else. … You’re just creating good looks,” Curry said, per ClutchPoints.

Curry and Butler are working well together.
During Monday’s game, Curry posted 38 points, six rebounds, and four assists, while Butler racked up 20 points, nine rebounds, and six assists.
They were a major reason why the Warriors sailed to a win over the Bucks.
During his first two games, Butler has scored 25 and 20 points, and he looks to be seamlessly adjusting to his role on the team.
Some people weren’t sure how he’d fit in Golden State.
Could his style of play work well with Curry and head coach Steve Kerr’s plans?
Plus, would he be able to shake off months of disgruntled play and actually participate and lead?
Things are looking good so far, but time will tell if this is a strong, longer-term partnership.
The Warriors have no time to waste because they remain the 10th team in the West with a 27-26 record.
Thankfully, Butler is playing well so far, and Curry has been on a tear over his last four games.
Could the Warriors be turning a corner, and has Butler joined the team right as they get back on track?
