The NBA’s All-Star Game curse goes undefeated yet another year.
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo will be sidelined for the big game.
Since February 2nd, he has been dealing with a mild calf strain that has forced him to be on the shelf.
He will remain sidelined through next week.
Charania adds that the Greek superstar should be back on the floor shortly after the All-Star Game.

He was the lead vote-getter in the Eastern Conference.
Now, Commissioner Adam Silver is expected to name a replacement, and while Charlotte Hornets star PG LaMelo Ball sounds like the most logical replacement, he might choose to get another frontcourt player instead.
Calf injuries are tricky and tend to linger.
Sometimes, they lead to more serious ailments, such as Achilles tears.
With that in mind, the Bucks need to err on the side of caution with their franchise player.
Antetokounmpo has struggled with calf injuries in the recent past as well.
It doesn’t make any sense to risk him aggravating his injury by playing in a meaningless game.
As much as this might be a bummer for the fans, the league has more than enough talent to ensure that the show continues.
