The NBA trade deadline is rapidly approaching.
Teams across the league only have a few more days until February 6th, hoping to lock in their rosters with any last-minute additions.
Anthony Davis, Luka Doncic, and De’Aaron Fox are three stars who have already been on the move leading up to the deadline, and analysts believe that more shoes could fall.
One of the players that is being discussed is Kevin Durant, who might not be excited about his future with the Phoenix Suns.
As Chris Mannix highlighted on X, the Golden State Warriors have emerged as a potential landing spot for Durant, should the Suns deal him.
The Warriors are indeed serious about reuniting with Kevin Durant, sources told SI. And with efforts to acquire Jimmy Butler stalled rival execs believe the Suns are strongly considering Durant deals before the deadline.

This would be Duran’t second stint with the Warriors, as he’s already familiar with Steph Curry and has plenty of familiarity with a Steve Kerr-run team.
With that being said, Durant still has a lot of value, and if the Suns are going to trade him, they’ll need to ensure that a package makes sense for them moving forward.
Losing Durant could drastically diminish their chances of winning the NBA Finals this year, but if they get pieces to help them in the long and short term, this deal could work out for them.
Only time will tell what will happen with Durant, but the clock is ticking.
Fans will know one way or the other by the end of the week, hoping to get some answers during a crazy, unexpected week in the NBA that has left some speechless.
