NBA fans are still reeling from the astounding Luka Doncic trade, but is another game-changing deal in the works?
The next few days could be filled with many fireworks as teams like the Golden State Warriors attempt to change their rosters before the trade deadline.
The Warriors will be busy and have already put in some interesting phone calls.
For example, Jake Fischer is reporting, per Legion Hoops, that the Warriors have contacted the Lakers regarding a trade for LeBron James.
In all likelihood, this call will go nowhere, but it’s a good sign of just how serious Golden State is right now.

There have been talks about James coming to the Warriors and Steph Curry before.
In fact, just last year there were whispers of a potential deal sending James north to the Bay Area.
James has repeatedly said he wants to remain a Laker until he retires, but he may have changed his mind.
It’s important to remember that he got to play in the Paris Olympics over the summer with Steph Curry and head coach Steve Kerr.
That was obviously a wonderful experience for everyone involved, and maybe it softened James’ stance about leaving the Lakers.
Meanwhile, the Lakers just acquired Doncic, assuring the next generation for them after James’ retirement.
Maybe they are more open to the idea of letting James go now that Doncic is in LA and the team will be in his hands for the next decade.
Still, James probably isn’t going anywhere, and he will likely remain in Los Angeles with his new teammate.
The fact that the Warriors are trying for James is a sign that they are taking this trade deadline seriously and will not stop until they get A-list talent.
