The Luka Doncic-Los Angeles Lakers trade was so shocking this weekend that everyone was talking about it.

According to Taylor Snow, per Legion Hoops, Kristaps Porzingis was caught off guard when a fan asked him about the “trade to LA.”
For a brief moment, Porzingis thought he was being informed that he was packing his bags and moving to the Lakers.

Thankfully, he was soon assured that he was staying with the Boston Celtics.
That’s good news for Boston because Porzingis is averaging 19.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per game on 47.6 percent from the field and 41.6 percent from the three-point line.
It doesn’t seem like the Celtics will ever want to say goodbye to Porzingis.
Of course, the same could have been said about the Mavericks and Doncic.
The Doncic trade was so monumentally surprising that it has people wondering if other big trades could be right around the corner, ready to shake things up and change teams in drastic ways.
In all likelihood, Porzingis shouldn’t be afraid of losing his job with the Celtics.
