The NBA trade deadline is now just days away, and the clock is ticking louder than ever.
That means if the Miami Heat want to deal away Jimmy Butler, they will have to do it soon.
Reports have said that multiple potential deals have fallen apart, but a dark horse is still in the running for Butler.
According to Jake Weinbach, the Milwaukee Bucks “loom as a real dark horse suitor for Jimmy Butler.”
“Khris Middleton, Bobby Portis, Pat Connaughton, MarJon Beauchamp, and Delon Wright would likely be the potential players involved. Any Butler-to-Milwaukee deal would require the Bucks to duck under the 2nd apron,” Weinbach wrote on X.

This isn’t the first time fans have heard rumors of the Bucks wanting Butler.
They envision him fitting in well alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard, and others.
Ironically, Lillard was attempting to sign with the Miami Heat when he was leaving the Portland Trail Blazers, partly because he wanted to play with Butler and the team’s culture.
If a deal comes together, Lillard might finally get his wish and suit up with Butler in Milwaukee.
Speaking of deals, the Bucks would have to move around a few assets to get Butler.
They would need to compose a package that makes the Heat happy, but that might be easier than before.
There was a time when the Heat were content to sit still and not do anything.
They had no desire to give into Butler’s demands and weren’t going to agree to anything they didn’t really like.
But they have softened their stance and are now eager to get rid of Butler before the deadline, so the Bucks have a better chance than they did before.
However, time is winding down, and both teams will need to move quickly.
