The Golden State Warriors didn’t just score a win on Wednesday night; they scored perhaps their most impressive win of the season.
The Warriors took down the Oklahoma City Thunder 116-109, and fans were elated to see them conquer the best team in the Western Conference.
That means the Warriors have now won two games in a row, and Steph Curry spoke about that and beating the Thunder after the game.
“We need positive vibes around here and we need wins,” Curry said, per 95.7 The Game.
“It (the win) was important… We need positive vibes around here and we need wins.”

This was exactly the sort of triumph that the Warriors were looking for.
The team is still in tough shape, currently holding the 11th spot in the West with a 24-23 record.
They have gone 5-5 in their last 10 games and have looked confused and incohesive at times.
Being able to overcome the Thunder is a major feat, especially since their record is so much better than Golden State’s.
It’s a reminder that the Warriors can never be counted out, and they do have the talent on the roster, but they just have to use it well.
The Warriors have a couple more games before they go on a lengthy road trip.
They will next face the Phoenix Suns and Orlando Magic before they trek off to take on the Utah Jazz, Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings, and more.
By the time that road trip is over, the trade deadline will be long past, and that means this team could look very different.
No one is sure what the front office is going to do but it wouldn’t be shocking if they really shake things up next week and alter the roster in a big way.
