For years, Paul George was the main reason why the Indiana Pacers were a playoff team.
They only went as far as he could take them, and while they failed to reach the NBA Finals, it was hardly on him.
It’s been eight years since George left the Pacers.
And while his departure wasn’t on the best terms, he’s still mad at the fact that they haven’t given him a tribute video.
Talking to Ky Carlin of Sixers Wire, he admitted that it still bothered him (via Legion Hoops).
Paul George:
“‘I’ve never gotten a tribute video since I’ve been going back to Indiana’ and that was eight years ago… It sucks.”

Truth be told, it feels like the Pacers could’ve and should’ve gotten something together for him.
George did request to be traded in the end, but it didn’t happen overnight.
He revealed how many times he tried to get the front office to make moves but to no avail.
Ultimately, things don’t usually work out as people expect them to.
George was a rising star and one of the best two-way players in the league before he suffered that gruesome and career-threatening injury.
After that injury, the Pacers were never able to compete at the highest level, and as one of the best small forwards in the game, he only wanted a chance to win.
Clearly, there’s no love lost from the Pacers organization.
Hopefully, he will eventually get his rightful tribute there, even if it has to wait until his final year in the league.
