The Jimmy Butler saga continues for the Miami Heat, and they have only about a week to trade him if they want to rid themselves of him before the end of the season.
It is believed his preferred destination is the Phoenix Suns, a team that has had championship aspirations ever since the start of last season but has fallen well short of playing at that type of level.
The Golden State Warriors are another team that has been rumored to be in the hunt for the six-time All-Star forward.
But according to Chris Mannix, Butler doesn’t want to go to the Sacramento Kings or Memphis Grizzlies, per NBACentral.

The Kings are a team that was expected to be a playoff-caliber team this season after they added DeMar DeRozan, another former All-Star forward, this past summer.
But they have sputtered instead and are currently in 10th place in the Western Conference with a 24-23 record.
They’re reportedly open to entertaining trade offers for guard De’Aaron Fox, their best player, ahead of the Feb. 6 trade deadline.
Memphis has been a very competitive team over the past few years when healthy, and they have seemingly been knocking on the door of championship contention.
They’re in third place with a 31-16 record, but virtually no one feels they have a real shot at reaching the NBA Finals.
Butler has made it clear he wants the Heat to trade him, and he has a player option for next season he can turn down in order to become a free agent this summer.
