The Milwaukee Bucks are currently the fourth team in the East, but they know it’ll take a lot of work to crack the top three, especially with how fierce the competition is this year.
That means they are willing to make a splash before the upcoming trade deadline and improve their roster.
Do they have a long-rumored trade target in mind?
According to K.C. Johnson, via Legion Hoops, the Bucks “have reportedly shown interest in Zach LaVine.”
Of course, NBA fans have heard rumors about LaVine leaving the Chicago Bulls many times, so what is different this time?

If the Bucks really want to acquire LaVine, now is the time to do it.
He is having one of his best seasons ever, averaging 24.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game, shooting 51.1 percent from the field and 44.6 percent from beyond the three-point line.
LaVine has plenty of benefits he could bring to the Bucks, although he comes with some downsides too.
Most notable is his massive salary, which has scared away plenty of other teams in the past.
Perhaps the Bucks aren’t as afraid of the salary and will work around it.
If they do move forward and try to get LaVine, it’s not clear who and what they would send to Chicago in return.
Players such as Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis have reportedly been in the mix when Milwaukee has contemplated trades.
The Bulls could be very active over the next week and they may do business with multiple teams, but it sounds like the Bucks could be picking up the phone and giving them a call soon.
