Everyone knows that Dwight Howard’s relationship with the Los Angeles Lakers has been complicated at best.
But he is ready to suit up and play for them once again.
Writing on X, Howard said, “It ain’t that hard to find a center,” seemingly referencing demands from fans and Anthony Davis that the Lakers’ front office finally sign another big man for the team.
Howard is prepared to play, but are the Lakers ready to listen?
It ain’t that hard to find a center 😴

Howard spent a total of three seasons with the Lakers, first playing for them in 2012-13 before coming back in 2019-20, winning a championship, and then returning for the final season of his career in 2021-22.
During his three years in Los Angeles, Howard put up an average of 10.7 points and 8.8 rebounds.
He left the NBA after the 2021-22 season and played basketball overseas but Howard has made no secret of his desire to come back and play in the United States.
He has made numerous comments in interviews and online saying that he is more than willing to come back to the NBA, even on a veteran’s salary.
At 39 years old, Howard’s time in the league is probably over, but that won’t stop him from speaking out and trying to get a second career in America.
But the Lakers have probably had their fill with Howard and won’t be picking up the phone.
However, they could sign a different, active center in the next few weeks.
If they do, they will finally give in to a demand that fans have been making for years and could complete their roster.
