The Toronto Raptors could change their roster in major ways before next week’s NBA trade deadline, and several stars could be leaving.
One of the players who might be saying goodbye to Toronto is Chris Boucher, according to Michael Scotto.
“The Nuggets, along with the Los Angeles Clippers, New York Knicks, and other teams, have also expressed trade interest in Boucher, league sources told HoopsHype. The 32-year-old forward is in the final year of his contract worth $10.8 million and has averaged 10.7 points in only 17.5 minutes while shooting 37 percent from 3-point range,” Scotto wrote, per NBACentral.

Boucher has been impressive lately, averaging 10.7 points and 4.4 rebounds for the season on 50.5 percent from the field and 37 percent from the three-point line.
He recently had a strong string of games, and that is surely garnering attention from these three teams, but which one has what it takes to trade for him?
These three teams will have to be very careful about what they give up for Boucher, especially since the Raptors are going to be sellers at the deadline.
That means Toronto won’t rush into any deal and will take their time by only agreeing to trades they feel really happy with.
They want to rebuild their roster, and they will negotiate hard against teams that are trying to win now.
All three of the teams listed above will be in the mix in the playoffs, meaning they will be forced to give up a lot to the Raptors.
Boucher won’t be the only Raptor packing his bags, so fans should pay close attention to everything Toronto does over the next several days.
