There have been many rumors about the Denver Nuggets and possible trades recently but it’s not entirely clear which direction they will take.
However, they are definitely up to something and a new name has been added to the mix of players who may potentially come to Denver.
According to Evan Sidery, the Nuggets have “recently checked in” with the Atlanta Hawks about Bogdan Bogdanovic.

“Denver continues to be an active team in the marketplace, which includes Michael Porter Jr. as a potential trade chip.”
The Nuggets have recently checked in with the Hawks on Bogdan Bogdanovic.
Bogdanovic, Nikola Jokic’s Olympics teammate, is under contract through 2026-27.

This report confirms a few points: the Nuggets are interested in multiple NBA stars and they are going to likely use Michael Porter Jr. in any trade they pursue.
Signing Bogdanovic would make a lot of sense for the Nuggets because he is averaging 11.3 points per game this season, shooting 40.6 percent from the field and 33.7 percent from the three-point line.
Over his seven years in the league, he has proven himself as a very reliable bench star.
At the same time, would it be logical to replace Porter, who is known for his shooting, with Bogdanovic, another talented offensive star?
Porter is shooting 18.0 points and grabbing 7.0 rebounds per game on a 50.7 percent field goal percentage and a 38.5 percent three-point percentage.
The Nuggets are looking out all their options and figuring out what works best for them.
Whether it be Bogdanovic or someone else, it seems apparent that they will do something before the upcoming trade deadline.
They are currently the fifth team in the West with a 15-11 record.
