Things aren’t going well for the Golden State Warriors and they are struggling to even be in Play-In contention right now.
The Warriors have made some substantial changes to their roster over the last year, including the addition of Dennis Schroder.
Speaking on 95.7 The Game, Evan Giddings said that Schroder isn’t helping the Warriors at all.
He brought up the fact that Schroder has been -140 in 487 minutes, which is the worst of any player on the Warriors.
To make matters even worse, he can’t even be played in crunch time and is not taking pressure off of Steph Curry.
For a number of reasons, he isn’t the player that Golden State wanted when they acquired him.
Dennis Schröder was brought in to help solve the Warriors crunch time issues and non-Steph minutes. In 18 games, he’s been a -140 in 487 minutes. The trade hasn’t worked and hurt them again against Sacramento.

On Wednesday night, Schroder put up seven points, three rebounds, and five assists against the Sacramento Kings.
He was one of the reasons why the Warriors were taken down by Sacramento after holding a large lead at halftime.
Since coming to the Warriors, Schroder has averaged 10.4 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 4.3 assists.
Over the last few years, he has become one of the most talked-about players for his international output on the world’s stage.
He has also helped out numerous teams, such as the Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers, Atlanta Hawks, and more.
But he’s going through a rough patch right now and the Warriors need more from Schroder.
He was supposed to be someone they could turn to when Curry needed time on the bench.
Instead, he is not productive and isn’t adding much of anything right now.
In fact, he is actively taking away from the team and the Warriors need that to change as soon as possible.
