The Washington Wizards will surely commit to trades before the upcoming deadline, but they may need to make some adjustments to their demands.
According to Evan Sidery, the Wizards may have lowered the asking price for Kyle Kuzma.
Last season, the Wizards wanted two first-round picks for the star forward, but now they might only require one pick and a “prospect” player.
Sidery added, “The Heat, Kings and Lakers are among teams showing interest in Kuzma.”
The Wizards are believed to have lowered their asking price in trade talks on Kyle Kuzma.
Washington held out for two first-round picks last year, but the belief is it might only take one pick and a prospect.

Kuzma is posting 15.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per game this season, shooting career lows of 42.0 percent from the field and 27.6 percent from the three-point line.
Last season, Kuzma averaged 22.2 points and 6.6 rebounds.
These diminishing numbers might be the reason why the Wizards will take a lower price point for Kuzma, who previously played for the Lakers before getting traded in the summer of 2021.
Will he head back to Los Angeles or make a home with a different team?
This news makes it even more clear that the Wizards could be making some substantial changes in the coming weeks.
With their 3-21 record, they are the worst team in the league and know there is a long road ahead of them before they are competitive again.
There was a time when it looked like they’d hold onto Kuzma, Jordan Poole, and their other biggest stars.
But times have changed, and now the Wizards are rethinking things and contemplating some massive alterations.
However, even with a lower asking price, Washington might have a hard time finding someone to do business with.
As for Kuzma, he hasn’t played since November 27 because of an injury.
