What do the Golden State Warriors need to turn this season around?
There is a lot of speculation and opinion about that question, but the Warriors obviously have to make some changes.
According to Evan Sidery, the Warriors have been pursuing Nikola Vucevic for “weeks.”
“Chicago desires a 1st-round pick for Vucevic, but Golden State is only willing to include 2nd-round draft capital. Golden State would send out expiring contracts to match salaries,” Sidery wrote.
The Bulls and Warriors have remained engaged in trade talks centered on Nikola Vucevic for weeks.

The Bulls big man is putting up 20.3 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game for 2024-25, shooting 55.4 percent from the field and 41.1 percent from the three-point line.
He is having one of his strongest seasons in years and could greatly aid the Warriors, especially when it comes to frontcourt production and defense.
The Bulls know that Vucevic is playing well this year, which is why they are demanding a lot in any trade for him.
Now they just have to see how desperate the Warriors are.
If Golden State decides they need Vucevic, they will possibly change their stance about giving up a first-round pick.
But if they don’t budge, the Bulls could shop Vucevic around to another team and the Warriors might lose their chance to get him.
The Bulls have been pretty quiet on the trade market over the last few years, but they have been busy lately, and it feels like Vucevic will be going somewhere new, even if it’s not to Golden State.
The Warriors think he could help them out, but are they willing to pay the cost to get him?
