The Sacramento Kings are looking much different lately, and fans are loving it.
The firing of head coach Mike Brown seems to have been the correct decision, and the team has been on the right path since bringing in Doug Christie.
According to Courtside Buzz, the Kings are now 10-2 since Christie took over as head coach and 9-1 over their last 10 games.
They started the season with a 13-18 record but the Kings are now 23-20, which puts them at seventh in the West and 1.5 games out of the fifth seed.

How much better can things get for the Kings?
For a while, fans thought this season was doomed and they wouldn’t be able to reach the playoffs again.
But things are much better now and they are serious playoff contenders.
There were questions and concerns about Christie when he was given the head coach job, with many people feeling he might only have it for a few months before getting replaced.
However, those same fans are now clinging to Christie and don’t want him going anywhere.
He has obviously unlocked something special in this roster.
Without changing the lineup too drastically, he has upgraded the tempo, tone, and chemistry of the team.
They are now just behind the Los Angeles Clippers and Lakers and could soon be the fifth seed.
If their winning ways continue, they won’t have to fight through the Play-In Tournament in a few months and will have entry into the playoffs.
This might be the season’s biggest turnaround, and now the Kings just have to keep it up.
