Madhya Pradesh clinched its maiden Senior Women’s ODI Trophy after it beat Bengal in the final of the 2024-25 edition by seven wickets at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot on Monday.
Combined efforts of Kranti Gaud’s four-wicket haul and opener Anushka Sharma’s unbeaten knock of 69 off 102 balls helped MP get over the line against a Bengal side which boasted India internationals such as Richa Ghosh and Titas Sadhu.
Earlier, Madhya Pradesh won the toss and put Bengal to bat first.
