Giannis Antetokounmpo and his Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA Cup on Tuesday night, meaning they got the trophy and a boatload of cash.
Each member of the Bucks walked away with a bit more than $500,000 because of their NBA Cup win.
However, that money is already spoken for in the Antetokounmpo household.
According to ClutchPoints, Antetokounmpo spoke about where the money is going:
“I gotta go Christmas shopping, and a happy kid on the way. Diapers are expensive, so the money’s already gone.”

What a game for Antetokounmpo, who was named NBA Cup MVP following the 97-81 win.
He scored 26 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 assists to lead his team, while Damian Lillard put up 23 points.
It was a great night for Antetokounmpo and his team, who have faced some tough challenges so far this season.
Just a few <a href="https://sports-info.online/2025/01/14/nba/kings-have-impressive-stats-since-firing-mike-brown/” title=”Kings Have Impressive Stats Since Firing Mike Brown”>weeks ago, most people had counted them out, but they are now seen as one of the most formidable teams in the league.
The $500,000 is nice, especially for younger rookies and two-way players who don’t get the sort of salary that Antetokounmpo does.
But this win is about so much more than simply getting paid big bucks.
Instead, it’s about reminding the rest of the NBA how powerful the Bucks can be and why they should be feared.
They want to be championship contenders again and that is exactly how they looked on Tuesday night.
Even if the money wasn’t a factor, the Bucks would have played with heart, drive, and determination—because they had something to play for.
