Before he played in the NBA, Victor Wembanyama was considered the greatest prospect in professional sports history.
Needless to say, those are some big shoes to fill.
However, the San Antonio Spurs star has lived up to the expectations so far.
As Yahoo pointed out on X, he’s just turning 21 years old today.

Notably, he’s also just finished his 100th career game.
In that span, he’s scored more points than the likes of LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Carmelo Anthony.
He’s also grabbed more rebounds than Anthony Davis, Patrick Ewing, and Joel Embiid.
On top of that, he’s blocked more shots than Shaquille O’Neal, Dikembe Mutombo, and Hakeem Olajuwon.
If that wasn’t enough, he’s also knocked down more three-pointers than Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson. and Trae Young.
He’s on pace to have the single greatest career in NBA history at this rate.
Of course, there will be plenty of factors that could determine whether that’ll happen or not.
There have always been concerns about his health.
Nevertheless, he’s barely missed games since he’s entered the league.
Wembanyama’s work ethic is unmatched, and he keeps working hard on his game.
Some resent the fact that he takes so many three-pointers.
But when you have such a unique skill set, it only makes sense that you make the most of it.
Wembanyama’s journey in the league is just getting started, and this might be the worst he’s ever going to be.
