The Chicago Bulls have been stuck in mediocrity for years despite the front office’s attempts to retool the roster with stars.
Chicago is desperately looking to replicate the success the organization experienced in the 1990s.
However, they don’t have the luxury of employing an all–time great like Michael Jordan.
Jordan is widely considered the GOAT in basketball circles.
He boasts an undefeated NBA Finals record and six championship rings.
Of course, Jordan wasn’t able to accomplish those titles on his own, as he had stacked rosters and arguably one of the greatest second options in NBA history in Scottie Pippen.
Pippen is often overlooked during those title years because of Jordan’s greatness, but the small forward is undoubtedly one of the best players in history and deserves more flowers.
In fact, Pippen was so confident in his abilities during his prime that he believes he would have won six titles even without Jordan via the PBD Podcast.

It’s difficult to believe Pippen would have won the same number of titles without Jordan as his running mate, considering he had his opportunities to do just that when Jordan retired the first time.
Pippen was a top-three player in the NBA during Jordan’s absence, though he never reached the same heights without him.
Still, this shouldn’t take away from the fact that Pippen is an all-time great who shouldn’t be dismissed just because he got to team up with Jordan.
