It’s been a tough season for the Portland Trail Blazers, especially because one of their biggest stars hasn’t been performing well lately.
According to NBACentral, Scoot Henderson has gone ice cold during his last two games.
He scored four points, two rebounds, and five assists a few days ago during a game against the San Antonio Spurs and posted just two points, one rebound, and four assists against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday night.
One word was used repeatedly online by disappointed fans: “bust.”
Scoot Henderson over his last 2 games:
2 PTS – 0/4 FG – 0/2 3PT
4 PTS – 2/9 FG – 0/6 3PT
He’s now averaging 10.8 PPG, 40% FG, 28% 3PT, 49.5% TS on the season

Many people came out and said that Henderson was a complete bust just two years into his NBA career.
So far this season, he is averaging 10.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 5.1 assists.
During his rookie year, he put up 14.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 5.4 assists.

Henderson definitely isn’t playing as well as he should, and that’s also true for the Trail Blazers.
The team holds an 8-18 record and is the 13th team in the West.
Because of that, a lot of people are wondering if they will commit to big changes in the weeks ahead before the NBA trade deadline.
If they do, will Henderson be part of any packages?
Or will other teams be hesitant to take Henderson because of how he’s been doing lately?
Henderson was selected as the third overall pick in the 2023 draft, but he hasn’t looked like a top-ten selection lately.
It doesn’t always have to be this way, of course, and Henderson can bounce back and play a lot better.
But if he has many more games like these two, the number of people questioning his future will only grow.
