Another week, another setback for Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers.
According to Courtside Buzz, Embiid will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days after experiencing increased swelling in his knee following an on-court workout.
That means the Sixers will be without Embiid once again and their season continues to have problem after problem.

Embiid just missed six games due to a left foot sprain and was working his way back to being on the court full-time.
But his on-court workout set him back and now Philadelphia has to wait at least a week before he can play again.
This is just the latest issue for Embiid, who has struggled to remain healthy this year.
He has averaged 24.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game in 2024-25 but has only appeared in 13 games.
Meanwhile, the Sixers are floundering, currently in 11th place in the East with a disappointing 15-24 record.
At this point, some people think the Sixers might be wise to just give up on this season and plan for what comes next.
Embiid can’t stay healthy and they have big questions about contracts and extensions looming.
Of course, if Embiid really does recover this time, he can help get the team back into playoff contention.
But every time they think he is ready to go, something else gets in the way.
When the season began, fans were hopeful that the big three of Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey could pave the way for their best season yet.
The addition of rookie Jared McCain also seemed like great news, but he too got injured.
Now the Sixers are stuck in a huge rut and can’t seem to climb out of it.
Is there any chance of 2024-25 getting better?
