Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs might be one of the most exciting young players in the NBA today, but he was humbled in a big way earlier this week.
A video shared by Courtside Buzz showed the amazing moment when De’Andre Hunter of the Atlanta Hawks dunked on Wembanyama.
The crowd got on its feet and the Hawks team went wild when they saw Hunter posterize Wembanyama.

This was easily one of the most memorable moments of the NBA season so far.
Dunking on anyone is always impressive, but doing it on Wembanyama is an accomplishment all its own.
As you can imagine, the Spurs star wasn’t very happy with Hunter’s actions and immediately got up and started to approach the Hawks player.
Hunter wasn’t backing down and both players received a technical foul for their actions following the dunk.
During the game, Hunter scored 27 points with six rebounds and one assist, although the Hawks ultimately came up short in a 133-126 overtime loss.
It was a fierce game that showed fans some of the up-and-coming stars who could be running the league one day.
Hunter is 6-foot-8 and Wembanyama comes in at 7-foot-3, which makes this moment even more memorable and remarkable.
The Hawks are currently seventh in the East with an even 14-14 record.
Meanwhile, the Spurs are 11th in the West with their 14-13 record.
They are doing better than last season, but they still have a way to go before they are true playoff contenders again.
It’s not often that Wembanyama experiences something like this, and it’s sure to stick with him for some time.
